| The Stucco Playhouses |
Barbara's public use Stucco Playhouses are part of the Turnberry Town Square Shopping Center in Las Vegas, NV. The Stucco Playhouses are designed to simulate the old world European look of the surrounding buildings and to meet ASTM F 1487-07 Standard for Playground Equipment for Public Use and ADA Handicap Accessible Guidelines. There are 2 sets of playhouses: Romeo & Juliet's Playhouses for the 5 to 12 age range and The Bakery/Cafe for the 2 to 5 age range. |
| Los Rios Play Structure |
After 10 years in the planning, the City of San Juan Capistrano began construction for the Los Rios Historic Park October, 2008. David Voltz Designs had approached Barbara Butler in 2006 to design a play structure that would complement the historic buildings and the park setting, while being sensitive to the surrounding neighborhood. The Los Rios district is the oldest residential neighborhood west of the Mississippi, starting with the establishment of the Mission in 1776. Currently in fabrication, the play structure installation is scheduled for March 2009 with the grand opening in May. |
| Roughhouse Treehouse |
The Roughhouse Treehouse resides in the middle of the Turnberry Town Square Shopping Center in Las Vegas! This very unique tree house was designed by Barbara to the ASTM F 1487-05 Standards for Playground Equipment for Public Use for the 5 to 12 age range and ADA Handicap Accessible guidelines. Built around a large tree brought all the way from Texas, this unique treehouse has a rustic "Tom Sawyer" style and plenty of fun play components.

The Pirate's Ship was designed and built for the Ritz Carlton Hotel in West Palm Beach, FL and sits on ocean side to complement the view. This elegant ship meets ASTM Standards for the 2 to 5 year old age range.

The Lighthouse makes an engaging public-use wooden Play Structure for a pre-school. What little child doesn't love the idea of ships and a lighthouse. Walt Disney commissioned Barbara to design a public-use outdoor play structure for Disney World's newest resort, Saratoga Springs. Fort Saratoga is designed for 5-12 year olds, meets ASTM F 1487-05 Standards for Playground Equipment for Public-Use and is also handicap accessible. |
| Outdoor Sunshine Theater |
Outdoor Theater (for age range 2 to 12) is the perfect way to bring kids together for interactive, imaginative play. This stunning theater is located at New Town At St. Charles, a traditional town designed & developed by Whittaker Homes. New Town combines old with new, ultimately creating a town reminiscent of the past where children can ride their bikes to the general store, residents can walk to the local coffee shop and everyone can go to the park for a day of delightful theater.

Designed to meet the ASTM Standards for Public Use Playground Equipment for the 2 to 12 age range and can be upgraded to meet ADA Handicap Accessible Guidelines. |
